Pleine
Aire Workshop - Instructor Michael
Drury
For experienced oil and
acrylic painters only
May 16th thru May 21st,
2004

Both of these classes run
from a Sunday, at which time students check in, to
a Friday, when students leave after breakfast.
Students paint with instruction for a full four
days in beautiful West Marin. Some of the venues
are on private ranches and are not accessible to
the public.
Each morning will begin
with an early breakfast, followed by a morning
painting session in Chileno Valley. Students will
reassemble around noon for a leisurely lunch and an
informal critique. The afternoon will be spent in
and around Tomales Bay and Point Reyes, after which
students will eat dinner at a local restaurant
before returning home. Students can expect to
generate four to six paintings over the course of
the workshop.
The emphasis in this class
will be close attention to each student and the
development of a strong group of paintings.
Demonstration paintings will be performed as
needed. The students can expect to be challenged
and to work hard. Class size is limited to ten
students.
Again, this class is for
serious students only.
Best Wishes,
Michael Drury
